1993 E34 / 525i touring tail light bulb replacement

I was trying to replace tail light bulb for parking light on left side and dropped the bulb and bulb unit down in the body. How do I retrive this bulb and housing from down in body?
What is the method to installing this bulb as it is always difficult and difficult to reach. Thanks, Robert

1. To retrieve the bulb: A magnet wand?
2. To install the bulb: Monkey hands (that is the real hand of a real, live monkey, rather than a human tool...

Lol- a funny thought... are monkeys smart and humans just the tools of a darker power?)

Ps I always verify the orientation of the bulb before trying- a head torch and a good look inside is bound to help too.
