Just a quick post to say that the people and the help in this forum are the cream of the crop.
I've been a member for a number of years and have learned so much about my car and cars in general.
I bring this up because I've joined a couple of other forums in recent years as my kids have gotten their own cars (chevy trucks, audi, Volkswagen Passat).
While they provide good information, it seems that occasional belittling of newbies or questions that might seem elementary is commonplace.
I've never seen such behavior in this forum.
Again, just wanted to say thanks to all you bimmer guys and gals.

Ditto that... had my bimmer for over 10 years now...same car.. nearly 200,000 miles, would NOT have happened w/o this forum. Saved untold dollars and learned a lot.

My philosophy has come to be with these cars that if something seems senseless and difficult... I'm probably going about it wrong. Most seems to be well designed, just need to discover that intent in design first.
