My passenger head light on my 91 535i won't work I've checked every thing fuses wires power supply every thing works but the head light won't come on plus I just put new bulbs in it still nothing when I put the volt meter to the wires that plug on the bulb it read 9.4 then when I plugged em in and tested it it read 0.0 any suggestions?

Reflow your LKM relay for the right side. Very common.

and rebend the contacts of the relays in the LKM, here I have made a pic how to test, remove the LKM, take the cover off, insert it again without cover and then you can actually see if the relays work, also squeeze the contacts on the relays. Light must be on of course when testing.

You can trigger the relay to turn on the light without turning on the light from inside... That way you can tell which relay is for what...

two relays together is low and high beam... single relay on the other side is foglight... unless you have euro car with rear foglight... then two and two.

You can trigger the relay by using a small flat screwdriver and just push the relay in (push toward the relay motor...)

I don't think you even need the ignition on at all... been so long since I done it.
