as I was checking inside the glove box of my '89 525i, I was pleasantly surprised to find a plastic pouch that contained 2 user's manual (1 German, 1 English) , Service Booklet, Bavaria radio manual, and a piece of green and white bar computer paper that seems to be the as built specifications of my car. On that paper were numeric option codes with German descriptions. there were two items that I was not able to fully translate:

0540 - Ceschwindick automatic controllers
0570 - Stronger Current verse

anyone knows what these are?

Thanks in advance,
Philip

I checked out my own car the other day for option codes. And found what I was looking for, anyway my guess is:

540 - Cruise control

570 - Increased battery capacity and alternator

Maybe your car has these options?
