Hey guys,

I just installed a SACHs sporting kit.. i love it!! My old shocks were completely shot and the springs were soft.. it feels like I am driving a new car, and it looks 500% better with the car sitting lower.. the tire is now nicely tucked in the wheel well.

I am debating on whether to buy 20 inch rims.. a good friend of mine owns a tire shop and tells me that 20 inchers on BMWs don't ride very well.. and while I like a stiff ride, I don't want my teeth chattering.

Has anyone ever had 19s or 20s on their e34? I would love to hear from you; how it rides, how it looks (pictures if possible). Any feedback would be appreciated. THanks in advance!

Wow! I find 17's to be jarring enough, can't imagine what 20's would be like! IMHO, don't go above 17's for reasonable balance of sport/looks/etc... and 18's max...

Cheers,
Duey

I find that the ride IS a bit tight, but it DOES corner like it's on rails!

I'm on 18inch Hp's they ride great I have also had the MK 18's from a 850 & the were really deep and we had to tuck & roll the finder lips but they ride good. DONT do 20's they rub the shock tower, tear up the inner fender, and ride like wagon wheels (steel ones) beenthere done that took them off in less than a week

i wouldn't go any larger than 18's. 19's is pushing it, and i think they look to large on the e34. stay away from the dubs.
