What cd player decks look good in bimmers? IE black with amber lights.

Nakamichi CD400? I think is what folks have used that fits in well with these cars. Not too $$ either.

I've got the MP3 version of the JVC Chameleon (http://www.jvc.co.uk/product.php?id=KD-LX111R&catid=29) head unit, and when it runs flat-faced it blends in pretty well.

Not too expensive either, I got mine for £199, but I imagine they'd be cheaper now to make way for the next gen models coming out..

if you know what Fry's Electronics is, go there and it's dirt cheap, lik e$150-200 vs $300 on ebay.

You can get the Nak that cheap at Fry's? I hate that place, but for that price..... My Clarion CD just crapped out. Its under warranty but will take like 4 weeks. I considered getting the Nak cause it looks better. However, I got used to being able to play MP3's and I was getting ready to do the Sirius upgrade. The Nak doesn't directly support either.

I got the Nak for sound quality, the amber display is just a plus. 24bit DAC vs a 1bit DAC on 90% of the market. :D

I have a nakamichi cd-45 w/o instruction manual from the previous car's owner and I can't figure out the step sequence to mute the beep sound everytime I press a button. I know when I first received it, it didn't beep each time, but after unplugging the battery to do some work a while back, it must have reset itself to default "beeping" each time a button is pushed.

Any ideas or help is appreciated! Thanks!
