Hi -

7549the three buttons shown in the picture stopped working. They do not activate
their respective functions (hatch glass defrost, A/C and air recirculation).

Since they are all in one location is there a common link I could look into?
I checked the fuses and they all seem ok.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to my diagrams a 3 buttons connect into the climate control computer.

Does the green light on each button turn on when you press it?

Do you have any other faults in your climate control system?

What is the other thing that is in that location? (chk the photo). I'd pull it out and check its wiring! if no luck there, remove the heater/ac control panel, check its wiring and perhaps tear it down to check why the switch is no good. Also clean out the therometer fan whilst you are at it, and replace any blown bulbs. It is very easy to replace it with another if you want to troubleshoot that way.

If you are confident that all the fuses are good the component I'd supect is the IHKR. All function switches and the lights get their power through it.
I may have a used one if you are interested

Looks like a newer stereo above the switches I would pul it out and check if the wiring was altered when it was put in

If it is the switch you can get a nice looking used one on ebay for about 10-20 bucks.
