I took my 525i out of winter storage - sitting under a pile of snow - and although it ran perfectly when parked, it's now sputtering and backfiring out of the intake. It runs and idles, but not very well.
I don't have time to take care of the issue, and I was planning on selling it anyway. It's Calypso red with tan interior, 430,000 km's, Bilstein Sports, Eibach lowering springs, three sets of wheels - stock steelies, stock mags and a set of Borbet five-spoke mags, all 15-inch - and two sets of tires, all season and winter. The winter tires are in pretty good shape, and so are two of the all-seasons.
Car is located in Sherbrooke - I'd be happy to let it all go for $500. I know there are not many of these 5-speed cars around in Quebec, so I thought I would offer it here first before it hits lespac or kijiji. The car is currently plated and registered, so no inspections needed.
I will be sad to see it go. Many pics available.
