I have a nice 91 525i. Black on Black. So.Cal car always garaged. 170,000 miles.
I've done the regular maintenance myself since 70,000, and fixed things as they came up. All oil changes, filter changes, radiator recharges, etc.. Doesn't burn any oil, runs smooth.
Bilstien shocks about 80,000 ago. New waterpump about 15,000 mile ago, front bushings (7 series) about 25,000 miles ago.
Brakes 30,000 ago, Still on the stock clutch, and no problems no symptoms.
Anyone have any ideas on things I should look for and inspect.
I want this car to hit another 200,000 miles. It's been a good, great looking car.
