Hello.

Although I've already posted a few questions, I'm one of the new guys. Just bought a really decent 92 E34 Wagon for $350. Needs a few little things, but, overall it really drives nice and I really like it so far. I'd attach a few pics of the car, as I know from experience that there is almost nothing that members of forums like this like more than pics of rides. I can't seem to make them small enough for the uploader to accept them on this site, but, I have a gallery on the bimmerwerkz site that I've linked below.

Yep. You saw it right. $350.

It was a unique set of circumstances.

Yep. $350.

I'm in the Military and stationed over here in Germany for a while. I bought the car from a woman who's husband is down range. They bought the car last fall for about $1700 with the understanding that it would pass inspection. It didn't. They drove it for a month on temporary plates, and then parked it just before he deployed. They also had a new baby about that time, so the wife, who isn't mechanically inclined and didn't have the money to get the things fixed that needed to be, decided to sell it cheap to someone who wanted it, rather than let it sit for months. I saw her ad, things worked out right, and now I have it.

I had it inspected where I live, and the things that were identified as being wrong with the car where she lived weren't an issue here. My inspection site said I needed to repair the left front brake caliper, which was tight and not allowing the wheel to turn freely. I just did this morning for $20. I also need to get a small quarter-sized hole in the passenger-side front floor board welded closed. I'm getting that done tomorrow morning.
