Out here, had the other party won there would've been riots. Never understood this concept.

"Detroit police characterized the early crowds as moderate and mindful. By 2:15 a.m. as crowds thinned, Detroit mayoral spokesman Dave Manney said at 2:15 a.m. there were no reported major incidents."

No fires, no riots, no civil unrest...Things in Motown are great.

probably would be worse in LA...lol. Loved how the media was dissin' the Pistons....wanting LaLa to win. Bottom line is the Pistons are younger, more hungry and deeper. Have enjoyed every championship we have won in recent years...now 3 in recent memory. This one was sweet because the Pistons were such an underdog...remarkable they made it all the way.
Hats off to the team and Larry Brown...the sixth man on the floor...what a coaching performance...not only tactically brilliant in shutting down the Lakers and getting them into early foul trouble but making the young team believe in themselves.

Congrats to Bill Davidson, owner of the Detroit Pistons and Tampa Bay Lightning; 2 championships in the same year based on a strong team concept.

Larry Brown is the man... He was able to mentally prepare the team for each game. They could have easily dropped another loss after the game 2 disappointment but Larry set them straight. Also, they could have easily come in last night too confident, again Larry set them straight. I can't say enough about his contribution.

to stretch his wings while with the 76ers. Too many egos, lack of team discipline and confrontations. The pistons really heeded to the coach's wisdom and came out winners--all pretty much pounding it in underneath the basket with multiple visits to the FT line... many times more than the Lakers. Never liked the Lakers for a multitude of reasons but that's not important now. I really didn't want to see the pistons coming to LA for a 5th and possibly 6th game. Really didn't want to see Jack exercising his ugliness on the court because of disagreement with the ref... an eyesore each time this happens.

Kudos to Dumars...
