I have a blown head gasket in my 1990 E34 520iA

I have access to an M20B25 head gasket set and was wondering if it's compatible with the M20B20 engine in the car?

Also, any tips are greatly appreciated

It wont fit.
Tips? First find out why the HG blew or you will be doing it again. Get a new HG from a dealer or a decent engineering shop. Have the head checked for level and pressure tested - or you will be doing it again. If they need to skim it they can supply the correct (thicker) gasket to fit.
