Hello. I am looking to verify that both traiing arms are correct on my car. Looking to get a clue as to the location of the part number on the trailing arm. Seen some numbers by the inner bushing right on the elbow - do not seem to be the part numbers, given the understanding that those start with "333" per realoem.com...
Can someone help?
Thank you.

I thought they were all the same part number- except for M5? Even then, the arms I think are the same, just the hubs (to give a slghtly narrower track for 9" rims)- and bushes (offset) are different.

I thought they also compensated for the angle of the wheel when lowered?

I think only the offest bushes are required to do this Jeff. But I don't know for sure.

I don't think they used the offset bushings on the M5 factory. There is something very special about them arms but I don't remember anyone actually comparing the stock vs M5. I do remember once upon a time that I was on a quest for them things but I never did find any. The thought being that they would solve the crooked wheel syndrome on lowered.

Thanks Paul- and Happy New year!

I don't see how realoem proves it. The arms come with the bushes pressed in to suit the model. They are shown seperately on the diagram I know, but am sure that is how they sell the arms...

the arms dont seem to be different but you see the m5 has a different "bushing",a "rotary slide bearing" whereas on a normal e34 you seem to have the choice of an eccentric or(non?) eccentric 44mm bushing or is the outer one concentric and the inner eccentric(or visa versa?)

So M5 has a solid bearing? First I knew... hmm

Or does slide mean something else... M5 have different wheel offset- I thought this was due to different drive flange (hubs). Also, different brakes and a subframe that accomodates the (again different) large case diff and shaft hardware...

Bah, I wish we could compare all the parts.
