when a boot has been broken for a while, the grease disappears, and you can hear it start knocking, is the balljoint no good then?

the axle boot on my '94 Suburban broke 2yrs ago....it's somewhat sealed against the axle, just pressure fitting in there. IT's still good, i've put about 40k on it since lol.

We often use in our wrenching group the upper arms again by pressing in new Meyle HD thrust arm bushings, because the other side with the ball joint is still o.k., on that part we add such rubber boots new.

tie rods 29 x 14mm
