Any recommendations for brake rotors for a 93 525i? Any brands to stay away from?

Balo's. Work great. Price is right. BMA has them for cheap.

Can't remember the brand but I'll try to find out. They don't wear as fast as others and the metal between the contacting surfaces is not hollow-like from others I've had.

I've been using them for the last 5 years on my BMWs. I recently bought a set of Ate Powerslot, or whatever they're called for my E31 front brakes. I'm curious to see how they'll hold up, but since they were only $65 for the PAIR, I figured I might as well test them. So far I've got 3 years, 50k miles and 8 track days on my Balos, and they're still doing fine.
