Just got my new Guibo but the instruction stink with respect to showing how to orient this disk. There are opposite pointing arrows on every other hole. Is the idea to have the arrows pointing at the flange bolt hole? is there really a front or back to this disk? I have noticed that when install it does not lay flat but actually serpentines between the holes. Is this correct?

Yes, there is a right & wrong way to install them. They don't last long when they're installed backwards as they're designed to handle stresses in a particular manner. And when installed backwards they can't handle the stresses they're subjected to in normal use and shred themselves rather quickly.

Does the bentley not mention the proper direction to install a guibo?

yes bentley shows that the arrows go towards the ears but can't tell if there is a tranny side or a diff side

"you will see that the flex disc has an arrow that is cast into the side of the rubber disc. This arrow points towards where the flanges are to be mounted. In other words, the transmission or driveshaft flange will mate against the surface shown with the yellow arrow. The rule of thumb is that the arrow shows which way the mounting bolts are pushed through the flex disc."

Yeah I think where the confusion starts is that there are 6 arrows on the guibo. Three point one way and three point the other way. So there is no front or back to the quibo it is mearly a matter of mating the arrows with the flanges.
