Hi guys
I have this wierd clunk/klank when I apply the brakes, it sounds like something is banging the protective plate/shield or the brakecarrier on the left side.

Noise not present over bumbs or anything else even on really rough roads, it happens even when applying the brakes so lightly that the car doesn´t even brake or dip so its not a suspension part which are all about 6 months old btw..

Any clues?

it could be a swaybar link or ball joint

Recheck your suspension... don't assume.

Check the caliper mounts, pay close attention to the condition rubber mounts on the caliper side.

If that is gone then the caliper is floating around and producing the clunk and braking.

Thanks for the tips so far..
Just one thing that I forgot to mention, no clunk when the car is cold!

Oh, well that changes everything........ Take a look at your motor and trans mounts
