Look like it was produced last year... but right now... Demolition Derby... they are using E34 for a mythbuster test.

i was watching this. and i started wondering if the car they drove had the 55mph shimmy lol

and if it did. did they fix it? or just power through it since they were heading for 100+ hahah

Shimmy only occurs during 45 to 65 MPH... after that speed... no shimmy. LOL

They were testing a myth that a commercial dropped a car from 4000 feet and another car speeding at 142MPH... that the car will speed past the falling car.

It showed the end result of BMW E34 after it fell to earth. Thanks to 50/50 balance... the car landed flat.

They used 540i to drive... although they could only get to 105MPH on salt flat.
