Here is my own famous quote. Or at least in these parts...

"I could have married into a worse family but, I got tired of looking."

My father-in-law loves this line and when ever he introduces me to new friends he makes me repeat it. :) I have asked my wife to put in on my tombstone.

Anybody else?

Some of my favourites:
Hamlet: 'Alas poor Yorick. I knew him well'
Ingrid Bergman: 'Play it again Sam'
Cagney: 'You dirty rat'
Because they are all wrong:)

My favourite sporting quotation is snooker commentator Ted Lowe, in the days before everyone had colour television:
'and for those of you who are watching in black and white, the pink is next to the green'

Obama :"No new taxes"

Actually, that was George H.W. Bush, prefaced with "read my lips."

How about this one: "Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be here somewhere."

Yeah Bush said that too. You know they did find weapons of mass destruction, bio-weapons.
