Hi, I've replaced the engine and body harness on my 94 530i and now I'm getting the a Trans code and I'm stuck in limp mode.


Transmission fault code 30 solenoid valve 1

Fault code 33 solenoid valve 2

Fault code 32 solenoid valve 3

Fault code 31 solenoid valve 4

Fault code 2 p/n shift lock

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks Paul

Have I seen this post before? Anyway, as you have got 4 valves and the shift lock showing a fault I'd suggest there may be a wiring issue. Did the new harness come out of the same year/month model? Did this include the wiring down to the tranny itself?
You can check the wiring at the EGS socket (where the pins are numbered) and compare it to Bentleys diagram.
