Thanks for all those who gave me some tips on purchasing this car! I did buy it! :D Its my first BMW!! YIPPIE!!!

Ok, down to business, I noticed that I don't need to have the clutch pressed in to start the car, which is different from almost every other manual tranny I've driven. Which could be leading to another problem (my cruise doesn't work, or I don't know how to operate it).

So, clutch in when starting is correct?? If so, I gots some fix'n to do.

the only bimmers i've seen that need to have the clutch in to start are california cars, i personally hate that crap, i also don't like the solonoid on the later auto shifters, i kill that stuff on all the cars i drive
