I know the '83 633i/533i flywheel works on the '91 535i with an E28 M5 clutch. There's a part number split on the 633 flywheels in 1981, though. Will one out of a 1980 633 work just as well?
What's the difference 633 flywheels before vs. after mid 1981? Reference pin (which I don't care about) or something else?
