I have an ongoing voltage problem and I have been stumped for a good long time now. (this is 'charge trek' chapter XVII)

I'm going to look at this old security system that I found in my car after I bought it. This is the 3rd time I'm going to look at this- I thought I disconnected everything but maybe I missed something.

I'm looking for connector x1.0.

So what/where am I looking at/for? I don't remember seeing a big black wire - and what does "(partial)" mean?

try to disconnect the after market alarm. waay back after 2-3 days w/o using the car my battery would become discharged (even if the alarm isn't being triggered). disconnected the aftermarket alarm and viola no more discharging. just my experience though

Thanks- the hazards still flash (once) when I reconnect the battery ground but I can't find any more remnants. I think that means something is still connected somewhere. I've looked everywhere I think but I only found remnants attached to the ignition switch wires and the door lock wires - oh well that was a good little dig anyway, I'll try something else... p/o installed some silly 'euro' horns I might take a closer look at next.

So your charging woes are all gone now?
