Save the bling for Escalades & Mercedes. It never ceases to amaze me how some people desacrate their bimmers.

It's a lifestyle choice - a dreadful one - does the kit include fuzzy dice for the rearview mirror and curb feelers, perhaps? Some guys just get into smilin', stylin' and low profilin'.

NEVER saw them on an E34 but they were a reasonable popular accessory on MB roadsters and Jags here for the folks who love to overdecorate.

looks like in the U.K. this is fashion, whisky?
I noticed that there is a different taste in the U.K. when checking some online U.K. shops for tuning parts.
Same with mud flaps in the U.K.

Or trailer hooks in the Netherlands.

Or Sweden, a lot of trailer hooks here!

At least he didn't ruin that 750iLX yet. Haven't seen many of those. Actually that's only the second pic I've seen of one. And the other one was a pic from FAB Direct if I'm recalling as it was recked.

Hm... 750iLX? In Europe it's called L7.

Anyway, he ruined it already by converting it to LPG :(

I've only seen them referred to by UK folk where there it's an iLX (or iXL, forget which exactly). Basically saying it's an extra long wheelbase model. Forget how much longer it is than a regular iL model. But I think all of the extra length is visible in the B pillar as you can see it's really wide.

In the US, L7 was the designation for the "luxury" versions of the E23. Obviously hasn't been used in the US in quite some time.

Anyways, would be kinda cool to have the extra long wheelbase E38. Too bad they didn't bring 'em to the US... :(

Yes, it would be cool, but the problem is - those cars are made to be driven in, not driven by you, and I like to drive my cars :)

I always think that the people tht fit these are hiding damaged guards. I suspect that there are lots of dealers that seem to 'like' fitting them during a detail.

I like your taste in cars but but the accessory... BMW should never have chrome wheel fender arches! IMO.
