is the ASC switch supposed to be lit when turned off? I mean the green button, the "asc" is lit so I wondered!

In older cars (pre-'94 I think) it should. Later they've changed to a non-lit switch.

Usually when you turn off a safety device such as ASC (traction control) or airbag... they will light up orange or red... but never green.

It has the transparent green plastic button hence my curiosity! ;)
