For the M30, can anyone tell me what the thread (rating/number) is on the 6mm X35mm bolts that attach the wather pump to the engine block? Stealer doesn't stock them and will only order in packs of 10. I only need 3 of the 6.

When i needed some for the fan, I took one down to my local engineering/plumbing/building suppliers. They gave me half a dozen plus spring washers for free - they couldnt be bothered raising an invoice. Might be worth a try

I can find the proper length/diameter bolts at Auto Zone, Ace Hardware, just about anywhere. I'm trying to confirm whether or not the thread is 1,0 or not so I don't screw up the block threads. BMW parts dept. couldn't (or wouldn't) tell me.

Looked up the part number. Found it'd been superceeded by part # 07119904589. Looked it up at a few places and found that Pelican had this as a description.

M6X35-U1-8.8

Looks to me like it's a 1.0 thread bolt. Can't you take one with you and make sure the threads match?

Those bolts are off the shelf; no special thread pitch. I don't remember what pitch it is.
