Oh god...amd it's sold. Hopefully to someone who will either a) set it on fire or b) rip off ALL of that hideous body...I don't even know what to call it...and give it a fresh paint job to return it to stock

Damn. Its been sold and the pics have gone:( V6 on a 325i? Yeah its a joke. But can somebody explain to me why the M3 and M5 have got twin tail pipes when they are in line 6 motors? Please avoid any reference to tuned lengths of pipe and balancing:D

That would depend on which M5s or M3s, some having turbos and others not.

But in short, it creates less resistance when the burnt fuel is spewed out, which means fuel can go in quicker in the engine also with less chance of residual burnt fuel mixing in with the new fuel and air coming in to be compressed and exploded.

When you go for power, there is alot more going in and out of the cylinders and out the exhaust, so you do need better airflow going out. Otherwise you loose horsepower.

Worked it out. All they do is mount the back box across the back of the car and space out the outlets. There was me thinking it was something clever:D
