Perhaps I mis-read, but didn't he say something about spending money to eliminate the 02 sensors and a while later he mentioned replacing the 02 sensors with new ones? Does this make sense to anyone?

Not me but yes. Not Waikiki but it is a very large body of water that has real waves large enough to surf.
