I have purchased a used low beam headlight for my 7 series. Problem is the mounting bracket on the used low beam headlight is different than the low beam on the car. Oddly the used low beam mounting bracket looks the same as the existing high beam. At first I thought the guy had sent me a high beam but the new headlight is an elliptical... which I believe is a low beam. Am I correct? Are the elliptical beams only on the low beam headlights? Is there a way around this problem??? Perhaps new headlight nuts?
