Alloy Wheel Refurbishing?

Can an alloy wheel that's been on a burned car be refurbished and re-used? After cleaning off all the soot and melted rubber there's a light yellowish color on some areas but it comes off after a real good sand.

Give Transwheel or a similar refurbisher a call. Too much potential downside here to get a less than expert opinion.
