Hi All,

I just replaced the oil pan gasket, oil filter housing gasket along with news belts and tensioners on a 1995 E34-M50.

I took the car out for a test drive around the block and when I removed the oil dipstick to check oil level, I noticed a gurgling sound coming from the dipstick tube (when the dipstick is out). It was like something is boiling.
I did not notice any oil beneath the car and have parked it in the garage right now to see if there is any oil falling down as it cools

Any clues whats going on!!!

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I don't know what I was thinking when I tried checking the level with the car still running. Must have been a very long day.
