EAT or Conforti? (Installing on a '90 535 5spd) whats your opinion? And where do you buy EAT chips from? Conforti is listed on TMS for $250.

I dont know about the conforti but I have a EAT chip in my 95 540i and love it. It was really a big difference between the before and after feel. I believe that chipping is the cheapest big difference thing you can do for performance.

If your going for EAT make sure you get it right first time as customer service leaves a lot to be desired...

For that I read 'got wrong chip. still waiting for it to be swapped after 6 months'? Left my subtle hat at work;)

My dad has the Conforti and I've got the EAT. His 535 has 40K more miles on it, but still...he was in town a couple weeks ago and I let him drive my car so he could check out the koni/h&r combo. I got a little "woah, that's healthy!" out of him when he stepped on the gas. Seems like it's got a bit more grunt in the mid-range than his car, though again, at this age it could just be how well in tune the car is.
