I just read that xenon headlights were introduced on the E32 750, and then further googling on headlamp history seems to confirm that. Does anyone have pictures of what these early xenons looked like or a car equipped with them? How much could they have cost when new? I would imagine they would have been extremely costly, perhaps shogun has the answer to this one. It would be incredible if our E34s had had them as an option and someone could get ahold of some originals, though I'm sure they're extremely rare and probably not functional anymore

Only in last production year E32 750 EURO design standard.
And spare parts are difficult to get, if you can get them at all. Not from Bosch. Most of the people in Germany have converted to newer ones, or the orginal fans collect from all the people parts as emergency stock.
Fork out 1000 $ for 1 !

And of course I know a DIY repair page :D
