While for ZF power steering pumps used on the 735 and 750 E32 I could find a source for replacing all gaskets and the shaft seal, I am still on the search for LUK and Vickers power steering pump repair kits, which are for example used on E34 540, E32 740 and so on.

Does anyone know a link/source?

I re-sealed my power steering pump 1 1/2 years ago and it works like a charm, no leaks, no noises, good working.

This one is for a Porsche pump, but basically it is the same build up inside. Helps a lot

Thanks

Dunno what we'd do without Shogun the Bimmer spares super-sleuth!

One day Erich, you'll find 'em all... and perhaps even a source for wiper systems/PAD parts!

I had my LuK pump rebuilt a year ago. The rebuild itself was cheap. I asked the dude if there are kits for LuK and he said they are hard to find as those pumps barely fail. Even the sleeve bearing almost lasts forever. Its basically just the seal on the shaft you are looking at.

It would be good though to be able to replace the drum and its blades.
