E30 diff into E34?

e30, 325is, donor into E34 530i? I recall a cover swap is all that is needed but wish to confirm.

The e30 case does not have provision for the front/side passenger side mount. The case itself does not swap. The input flanges are different. However the innards of the e30 medium case diff will swap into medium case e32/e34 diff and visa-versa. There are dozens of e30 diffs on ebay with pictures to get a better idea of the case details.
