hi guys...new to this forum, but have been an active member of several other boards relating to my different models that i currently own.

i recently picked up a 1989 535im that's displaying a fog light fault due to the fact that the wires that plug into the fog lights were cut at some point and i'm missing the male adapters that plug into the fog light housings. they are the h1 fogs. hoping someone has a parts car that they'd be willing to sell these. i'd also be willing to buy the entire fog lights + that part of the wiring if necessary. my passenger size glass is cracked anyway. mostly i just want to clear the code off my dash.
thanks and hope someone can help me...

i need the male adapter that i can plug into these terminals after splicing where the wires were cut.

thanks again.

these are not all that expensive from the dealer...

you can also clear the code by keeping your foglights off....

nope code will still come up. Need to solder my wires back together. Shogun may have the correct part number there but anything that will plug in will work. seal the connections with anything except silicone, that attracts water.

Hmmm - I have a light out on one of my fogs, and as long as I keep them off I don't get the code.

depends on which version of the LKM you have, LKM-L will tell you regardless of wether it is switched on, lkm-b, wont till its activated

Yes, LKM-L checks the bulbs cold and hot, LKM-B only hot.
