Hello,

it started in my E34. they key is loose in the driver's door. So I have to open/close the car with the boot's lock. But even then, the front driver's lock doesn't work.

I have to open the rear door in order to lift the lock from the inside.

I have central locking

Can I change the failed lock without changing the whole set of locks? thx!

Have you tried graphite in the lock?

Have you tried graphite in the lock?

Powdered graphite, sold here in "puffers" that blow a bit of the dust into the lock.
I usually wash the lock out first with liberal doses of WD40 followed by brake cleaner, then the graphite.

Yes WD40 and powered graphite only
