Saw this on CL. I guess this is one of Terry's Frankensteins.

The only things that spring to mind are:- Why? and Yuk! Definately not one for me, even if I lived in the US

you guys are quick, unless xspeedy is one of the pirates.

this is a helluva snag. it was this car that convinced me my 3.0 tourer would never cut it and eventually led me to my M5T.

This is the preferable conversion spec except for a 6 speed to get 28mpg on those south texas quail runs.

git it

My comments were based more on the two-tone interesting interior than the mechanical conversions, just not my cup of tea, thats all!

I would love those seats in my black interior 525i. I agree that beige would have been better.

With the other $25k you'll be saving from not paying for a true M5T you could repaint the car whatever color you like and recover the seats in alligator. ;)
seriously

interior drags it back to a 7.5K car. otherwise it is nice.

reminds me of Shrike's.

"this motor provides much more reliable horsepower then the s38, & atleast as fun & responsive"

The S52? That's a fairly lofty claim....

looks like a fun daily driver tho.

I would want to drive it first before I discounted the asking price. there is a lot of goodies in there.

not me, shrike pointed out a lot of hack job visible in the pictures.

wiring is hack, no cruise control (hacked out), up converted to obdII instead of engine back converted to obdI (no point in it, chassis will still be obdI tested)

I revise my estimate to 6k max.

it is a pretty car, hack interior, good engine, hack job.
