Let's dream and have a bit of fun. Pick 5 cars you want in your garage. You've got Bill Gate's budget, sky's the limit. Prototype, cartoon/comics (like Batman's), real, racing car, sci-fi, whatever.

Me (nothing but manual tranny):
E34
540i 6 speed, or perhaps a V12 transplant like I've seen around here. Alpina ? Damn, the choice is difficult. Maybe I'd get a slew of 'em and keep my original 525i as well and restore it.

3 series coupé,
A 328iS or maybe M3. E46, although E9x are also sexy.

Now the real exotic stuff:

VW Karmann Ghia Coupé

Ferrari "Daytona" 365 GTB/4

BMW M1 Art Car by Andy Warhol.

Lamborghini - perhaps a Gallardo Spyder. Seems one of the less powerful and a bit more civilized.

Wait... that's 6... the e34 doesn't count !!! We all have one ! :D

Aston Martin DBS

If only we weren't dreaming...

I think all E34 M5T's have the S38B38.....I wouldn't mind having one either. Plus a B10BT (supposed to quicker than the E39 M5, with more torque than an E60 M5). I'd also like to add a E31 B12 5.7 Coupe to the mix (based on the850CSi, with the 5.7-liter S70 engine producing 416 bhp (310 kW/422 PS) with a 6-speed manual gearbox. :D:D:D).

73 Cuda?

This would be a '70 model. Different grille than the '72 - '74 and no shaker option past '71 due to the loss of big block engine option :(

For the record:

'71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible w/4 Speed (only 7 built total) optioned as:

N96 Shaker
Rim Blow Wheel
In Violet Purple
White Leather Interior
Go Wing
Elastomeric Bumpers
Fender Gills
Ralleye Gauges

Duesenberg SSJ Supercharged
'65 Shelby GT350 Blue on White
Ferrari 250 GTO
My dad's '57 Porsche 356 Coupe

73 Cuda?

'70 Cuda with 440 6-pack and 4:11 Dana rear-end straight from the factory. That's my mom circa '72 and her '67 Pontaic Bonneville in the background.

Dad special ordered this one just like he wanted it, leather interior, 3-speed auto (slap-stick), overhead cockpit, etc. I'll never forget peaking through the garage window at the dealership after it arrived in Nov. '69 before it had been cleaned and preped for him to take delivery. No room for air conditioning under the hood. We sold it in '73 during the Arab oil embargo when gasoline first went > .50 per gallon. Last time I saw it she was pretty ragged out, on a flatbed about to be transported to Ohio.

He at first wanted the hemi but they didn't offer it in an automatic and at that point in his life gout was beginning to be a problem with his feet so he settled for the 440 instead.

I have the first two
1995 M5T Elekta Silver over black
1957 Chevy 3200 apache with utility bed

From here its gets tough: I have to have one ferrari so it's going to be either a
Lusso 250 GT like this one with the head lights converted to brake ducts...the first real shark coupe
http://ferrari.vintage.free.fr/Images/Cars/Ferrari_250_GT_Lusso_Competizione.jpg

or a 330 GTS convertible, preferably navy blue over red leather like this one
http://collectorcarshowcase.com/images/280/images/1966%20Ferrari%20330%20GTS.jpg

having the gts means I won't have to have a 67 alfa duetto like I had in college.

I'll have to have a sting ray, another pickup and a caddilac convertible...something from the 40's or 50's...when I find the pics I will put them up...
other notables I would find myself driving in retirement to vintage road rallies:

Yes, 5.7 B12, only 57 produced; I believe the one you posted is Alf's car (Alpinadvl on M5board) and it's the only one on North American soil. I think it's number 027....sweet!
