Hello,

Has anyone used ppmrace rockers and cams. I'm considering purchasing theses for my M20.

I dont like the idea of no specifications, their site says manufactured to our specs... and? what are they LOL. I think you would just have to try them and make your own review. Good luck with it.

Didnt know there was a 518 Turbo. Are cam profiles different from a standard 518? Price of the cam seems reasonable but the followers are a bit steep. For that sort of money you could drop in a good 535 motor and with your gear ratios I wouldnt race you. Actually you could actually buy a good 535 for that sort of money and not even get your hands dirty :D

Turbo cams generally have longer duration on the exhaust and both intake/ex have more lift. A turbo cam on an engine without a turbo may be slower due to the overlap and dilution of the incoming charge.

I translate that as - its the wrong bit and it wont work properly

some tuner from sweden was talking about the ppm rockers on eurocca.net - http://forums.eurocca.net/showthread.php?t=30491&page=3 - he was saying their poor and broke. the best ones are a bmw motorsport copy made from steel. i don't have the details on me right now, but they were around aud$800 when I inquired about them. they were suppossed to be stronger than billet made items - i'll find a link in a while.
