Very often questions come up where a certain electric/electronic components is located.
PLEASE download the ETM for your production year and month, you need it so often!
As these files are about 20-26 MB, not many people apparently have taken their time to look thru these files. There are not only wiring diagrams, there are also component locations lists, component location views = pics of these parts with the corresponding connection name, splice location views, connector views, ground distribution, fuse details, power distribution, fuse charts, power distribution charts, symbols explanations, systematic troubleshooting, introduction and of course an index.
Make sure that you download the correct ETM for YOUR car, because there are several ETM's and they are not from January 1 - December 31 of a year.
So check with the VIN decoder the month/year of production (not the first registration date) and then select the right ETM.

For example the E32 1992 ETM is for E32 produced 09/1991 - 09/1992.

These ETM's are for U.S. specification cars and may vary in other countries.
