does anyone know if what is the correct (latest) part number for activated carbon microfilter - the one (64318350016) on realoem seems to be just normal paper type.

i could not find ones such as in the link below:

Pelican parts number is for the active filter
64-31-1-390-836-M270

Pelican uses the same BMW part number for both the normal and the charcoal filter but appends their own codes behind them to differentiate. The BMW part number is for the paper filter. I don't see anything about a charcoal version from BMW. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I just replaced the stock BMW filter with one from Steve Haygood for $16/shipped. They look to be identical.

See comments of BMWCCA1, apparently BMW dealer does not have the charcoal filter.
My old version does not even have a filter, so I never checked that so much in detail.
