Weird high idle after first drive fixed

Car had been getting stuck in high idle after initial drive on very cold mornings recently. It would get stuck anywhere between 1 and 3k rpm. It was the Gas pedal . it was getting stuck,lol.. its new so maybe the flex joint stiff from the cold and the pedal wasn't returning to position.. I just reached behind it ,pulled it foreward and bam... idle back to 500 rpm... lol.. sweet.

Maybe also a worn throttle cable? I had my throttle cable replaced and it was by far the best £70 I've ever spent on a car - no more sticky, jerky response.

First check your floor mat... make sure it is in the tab and not pushing on the throttle pedal.

Second, clean the ICV valve...

Third, check for huge vacuum leak...
