Gee, what happens when you hit 200,000? :D. Its officially a teen-ager, now go and drive it!

I guess the pics a bit fuzzy since you were clocking 175 km/h ;)

I think Dave's is up there... but that is his chassis...

Yea my e34 has some miles on her... the way she handles though you wouldn't know... people can't believe that it only cost me about $3.5k... ironic how nice a well cared for car looks!

That reminded to update my sig. And yes, I swapped in a rebuilt block two years ago (nice winter project). However, there is no doubt the old one would still be ticking along nicely. Cylinder 5 would just be sipping a bit of oil ;)

eh? 188k miles = 300k km

520k km = ~325k miles

The current highest on the UK forums is:
411,000 BMWcare (1992 M50 520i Vanos)

Which is 660,000 km

EDIT: Owait, now I see daves profile line :P *headdesk*

I've got 222,000 miles original engine and trans, never been opened up.
Just regular maintenance and spirited daily driving. I was a little uneasy buying it with 195K on the clock but this car has never let me down. I always get plenty of warning when a component is on its way out.
Best $1,500 I ever spent. Total invested so far is $3300 to get it where she is today.
