Dash OBC lights crazy

The OBC lights on the dash - the odometer, Check Control area, and the gear position area - all go crazy like "Vegas Mode". They are fine when I start the car, but after a little bit they start going crazy, scrolling, flashing, weird characters, symbols, lines, arrows. After a while, they will go back to normal. It's very intermittent. It's kind of cool actually... but I guess I should fix it. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

On a related note, I was trying to look at Bruno's www.BMWE34.net website, and all I get is 404's. Has that site moved?

So, is this the capacitor issue? The failure modes don't sound the same - mine is only affecting the LEDs at the bottom, not the gauges.
