This weekend I changed the oil filter housing gasket since it was leaking. While I had the housing out I cleaned it up. Well in the process of cleaning I must have pushed in these two caps. These caps are located above and below the oil pressure switch and I have no clue what they do. I know that they are sprung, and if I push on them they go in. Once the engine starts they pop back out(into place). However, I cannot get to seat correctly. Is there a way to get them to seat correctly? Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Edit: I have them to the point where they seep some oil, but I want them to stop!!

On another forum someone suggested cleaning the plugs out. I didn't have carb cleaner on hand so I used compressed air. I blew the plugs out, then I pushed them in and blew them out some more. Started it up, they both popped into place, and so far they don't leak. I drove around a little bit still dry. Hopefully it will stay this way.
