Replacing sunroof drive cable 525iT

I have a '92 525IT and I think I have broken the ends off of the front drive cable on both sides ( the plastic parts that clip the front trim panel in place and slide it forward and backwards). Without the trim panels, both sunroofs work great. How hard is replacing the drive cables, and where can they be bought. I have access to a complete cassette if this is a tough job or the cables are too expensive. Any help would be appreciated!

I bought mine at the dealer & they were around $50-$70 if I remember correctly. The replacement itself was pretty straight forward and well explain the E34 service manual.
