hI,New here just wondering if anybody can help when i start car it run but it surges a lot.Thank you

Hi,when idling.i have only just bought car had to put another ecu in have not taken car for drive yet.Thank you for your reply

My 1990 318iS does the same.

I believe it is the AFM (MAF?) that creates this problem.

Do a search, there are a couple of threads on repair or remedy.
