The Chip in perfect working order, just not compatible with my car apparently as I'm CATless and 02 sensor-less! I think all US cars were fitted with Cat/02 sensors but someone else might inform us better...

I'm just looking for £80 or $150 shipped (what I paid for it from Robert K - a member of the board when he sold his car). They're $229 new.

There's instructions on how to fit it included with pics etc... It's fairly straightforward anyway. Here's a pic of it: I couldn't get a detailed one with my mobile but I can get the Digital Camera set up if anyone asks...

I already knew with retesting my car on carsoft with the original in, just wanted him to confirm but I'm not holding my breath.

I just saw your PM, and responded to it. That chip is not compatible with cars that don't have an O2 sensor. I could probably make you a chip if you tell me the stock software version on the label of your chip.

It's odd that he sent it in that box, it's not the type of box I ship the chips in.

Thanks for clearing that up Mark I appreciate it. Email sent... I asked him to static proof the chip as ppl had heard of them getting fried so I don't know if it was that? I hope so - looking forwad to hearing back from you...
