Weight of 15" oem bottle caps?

Installed 15" Borbet H on '89 525 with 225/60 Continentals and was surprised by weight of tire wheel combo. Car felt different too.

Borbets weigh 26.5 lb each. What is weight of the bottlecaps?

Bottlecaps 18.2 lb. No wonder the Borbet H feels much heavier at 26.5. Feels heavy/different on the road too. One sure takeaway, only bottlecap with less than 1/2 tread tire in my spare tire well.

Most aftermarket cast wheels are always much heavier than OE wheels.
